A heavy day can convince you that every minute has to match it. It does not. You can borrow one better minute without lying about the rest.
From my chair to yours, this is small on purpose. Small is how a good vibe actually gets in.
Sit like you mean to stay
Both feet down. Shoulders dropped. Hands on your legs or around a warm mug. You are not bracing for the next hard thing. You are visiting a kinder minute.
Give the minute one good job
Breathe in and think, I am here. Breathe out and think, this minute can be softer. Do that four times. No performance. No perfect breath.
If a smile shows up, keep it. If it does not, the minute still counts. Comfort is not a test you pass.
Take the minute with you
When you stand, leave one kind sentence in the room. I can come back. Then go do the next ordinary thing. You do not owe the day a personality change. You only owed yourself a minute that was on your side.
Seen. Safe. Supported. Borrow it again whenever the day gets loud.
